What is PDR?
Paintless Dent Removal (AKA paintless dent repair) is a technique used to remove small to medium-sized dents from a car’s body without damaging the original paint. It’s a cost-effective and time-saving alternative to traditional bodywork that involves sanding, filling, and repainting.
Paintless Dent Removal Process
- We will evaluate the dent to determine if it’s suitable for PDR.
- The technician will access the backside of the dent by removing interior panels or using specialised tools.
- We then carefully mould the panel/s back into its original shape. This involves pushing from the inside and sometimes pulling from the outside using glue tabs & suction cups. We then use lighting and reflection to identify any remaining imperfections and continues to work until the dent is completely removed.
- The repaired area is cleaned and polished to restore its original appearance.
