Removal

Sanding – For smaller areas, sandpaper of various grits is used to remove rust and create a smooth surface.
Chemical Rust Removers – These products can be applied to convert rust into a stable substance, making it easier to remove.
Repair
Body Filler – For larger holes or dents, body filler is applied to create a smooth surface.
Fiberglass Gel – In some cases, fiberglass repair gel is used to reinforce the damaged area, especially if the metal is compromised.
Painting
Cleaning – The repaired area is thoroughly cleaned and degreased to ensure proper paint adhesion.
